So our freezer is now filled with our local meat purchase.
Since it was the focus of many of my recent conversations, I thought I'd let you all see for yourselves how much meat a 1/4 of a cow is. Keep in mind, this freezer is just taller than I am and I'm no shortcake. Everything that you see is from the cow except for the large wad on the lowest shelf (that's the ham left from our pig). The bottom basket is filled to the gills with roasts. The top and 3rd shelves are ground beef and a few small pkgs of beef cubes, and the second self down is steaks. That's the my beef. What's yours?

Well, holy quarter cow.
So we now know the answer to the age old question, "Where's the Beef?"
