Diggin' it

The Spatz boys are working their way up Old Chester laying in the new storm drain

Progress slowed considerably when they encountered that tough Gladstone bedrock

Move on over!
Southbound traffic squeezes by the action, while those Chester-bound are detoured on Mendham Rd

It felt like Spring at the PG Pond/Park today! Happy, smiley kids ran and played non-stop for a couple hours. We should all have good sleepers tonight!

If Only It Would Arrive

Still feelin' a lot like winter

Wednesday, April 2, 2008

Ah, Sweet Spring!

say,
what lurks
inside that lovely white bloom
that has recently
emerged
from the cold cold gloom
of winter's earth?

i say
it's a bumblebee
god's finest creation
collecting the sweet nectar
of mitigation
and warming even a
cold cold heart.

(blow up the bloom and you shall see)
