As we should've expected, our local communities bucked the national and state trends... Obama and Lautenberg may have won NJ, but not the Somerset Hills.
McCain, Zimmer, and Lance all got winning votes in our local towns.

good to see all the towns in our area had 70+% voter participation.
although where, i wonder, were the other 30%? at the movies? down at the beach? getting haircuts? pedicures?
Unfortunately, we beat national participation rates - approx 63%.
1/3rd of America chose not to vote. What does that say? That's a lot of pedicures.

Now we need to come up with a rhyme for Lautenberg when they prop up the old loon for re-election in 2014. Any suggestions?
